These pigs are not bacon, ham, or pork, they are sentient beings capable of feeling joy, fear, and pain. Their eyes hold innocence and vulnerability, asking nothing more than to live freely and without harm.
Our language reflects our thinking. When we call a pig “something” rather than “someone,” we erase their identity and justify cruelty. But once we recognize that they are someone, everything changes. We are compelled to act with compassion, to reject systems that exploit them, and to make kinder choices.
To live vegan is not extreme, it’s simply refusing to deny others their right to exist peacefully, because no one wants to be treated like a thing.
