Killing Is Not a Game
Hunting is often framed as a noble tradition or a sport, but no matter how it is dressed up, it always ends the same way, with death. Unlike soccer, which challenges skill, agility, and teamwork without harming anyone, hunting glorifies violence and turns killing into entertainment. A living, sentient being loses everything so that a human can feel powerful.
Calling it “sport” is an insult to real sports. A sport has two willing participants, a set of rules, and a fair chance of winning or losing. In hunting, the animal never agreed to play. The hunter stalks from a distance, armed and hidden, while the animal simply tries to survive in its home. That is not a game. That is an ambush.
Animals are not trophies. They are not targets or test dummies for your masculinity. They are individuals with families, instincts, and the desire to live.
Taking their lives for pleasure is not brave or respectable. It is cowardly and cruel.
We can choose compassion. We can admire animals without killing them. True strength is shown not by taking life, but by respecting it. Choose kindness. That is the future.
Absolutely true. Hunting our fellow animals is not “sport”, it is demented and sadistic. This form of savagery should be outlawed.
"Cowardly and cruel" --that says it all.
