Veganism Is Not a Virtue Signal, It’s a Moral Stand
Spray painted on a crumbling wall, the message is blunt: "If you are not vegan, you are paying for animal abuse." It’s not just graffiti, it’s a truth too many are still unwilling to face. Every dollar spent on meat, dairy, and eggs funds industries built on confinement, mutilation, and slaughter. Behind the curtain of advertising and tradition lies a system that commodifies living beings and profits from their suffering.
This isn’t about shaming individuals. It’s about accountability. Most people oppose animal cruelty, yet continue to support it three times a day out of habit, convenience, or cultural inertia. But morality doesn’t bend to comfort. If you would not slit a pig’s throat yourself, why pay someone else to do it?
Going vegan doesn’t make you perfect. It simply means you’ve decided to stop participating in violence that is entirely avoidable. We no longer live in an age of necessity, we have options, and one of those options is to live without causing harm to others. Choosing not to exploit animals is not extreme. What’s extreme is pretending compassion can coexist with killing.
Veganism is not a diet. It is a refusal to pay for suffering. And if that sounds radical, maybe it’s time to ask why nonviolence ever became the controversial position.
Excellent meme!
Most meat eaters have no idea how meat and dairy products are produced and what they are actually consuming.
Below are links that expose the utter insanity of the meat industry, from production . . . to distribution . . . to consumption.
Hope you and your readers find this useful.
Pease, good health, and best wishes.
